Clément Gosselin Ph.D.

Advisor

Prof. Gosselin is a world-renowned expert in the kinematics and dynamics of mechanorobotic systems, with particular emphasis on gripping mechanics, parallel mechanisms, and the new generation of physically interactive manipulation robots. He is a professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Université Laval and the Director of CeRVIM (Research Centre on Robotics, Computer Vision and Machine Intelligence). He also serves as the Director of the FRQNT-REPARTI Strategic Network on Cyber-Physical Systems and Embedded Machine Intelligence, and held the Canada Research Chair in Robotics and Mechatronics from 2001 to 2021. His work led to the foundation of Robotiq, a spin-off company that reshaped the robotic gripper industry. Prof. Gosselin is a highly respected technical advisor to our team, providing critical insights into the mechanical intelligence aspects of the CarbonSix product.
