How you will make an impact

  • Develop applications using SigmaKit that combine AI-driven motion with rule-based robot motion.
  • Design and develop software and applications for robotic and automation systems.
  • Develop software that integrates with robots, motors, sensors, vision systems, and various external devices.
  • Control robotic and automation systems and validate their functionality and performance on real hardware.
  • Implement communication protocols and interfaces between hardware and software and troubleshoot issues that arise during system integration.
  • Improve software reliability and performance through simulation and testing on real hardware.
  • Continuously improve systems to ensure that developed software operates reliably in real-world products and automation environments.

What we are looking for

  • Software development experience in one or more programming languages, such as C++, C#, or Python
  • Experience developing software that interfaces with robots, automation equipment, inspection systems, or other hardware
  • Understanding of hardware interfaces, including sensors, motors, and I/O
  • Hands-on experience developing, testing, and debugging software on real hardware
  • Strong system-level problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and resolve technical issues
  • Understanding of AI- and MLOps-based automation systems

Nice to have

  • Experience developing applications for industrial or collaborative robots
  • Experience with computer vision or vision algorithm development
  • Understanding of robot motion, kinematics, or control
  • Experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, CAN, Modbus, or Serial
  • Experience developing with ROS/ROS2
  • Experience developing manufacturing, inspection, or factory automation systems
  • Experience building simulation or testing environments
  • Experience with production deployment or deployment in real-world customer environments
