How you will make an impact

  • Design simulation-based benchmarks for evaluating robot learning models on manipulation tasks
  • Build reusable tasks, environments, and evaluation pipelines primarily using NVIDIA Isaac Sim
  • Create systematic variations in objects, layouts, viewpoints, and physical parameters
  • Define success metrics and experimental protocols for measuring model performance and generalization
  • Generate, import, validate, and manage simulation assets for robots and industrial environments
  • Develop scalable workflows for running simulations and analyzing benchmark results

What we are looking for

  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with a robotics simulator such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Drake
  • Strong understanding of 3D geometry, coordinate frames, spatial transforms, and robot kinematics
  • Experience generating, importing, and managing 3D assets
  • Basic understanding of simulation physics, including contacts, friction, collision geometry, and numerical stability
  • Familiarity with AI agents and AI-assisted workflows
  • Careful engineering habits around reproducibility, validation, and experiment design

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience building robotics environments and benchmarks in NVIDIA Isaac Sim
  • Familiarity with USD, URDF, meshes, textures, and robotics asset pipelines
  • Experience with robotic manipulation, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or learned control policies
  • Familiarity with domain randomization, synthetic data generation, or sim-to-real evaluation
  • Experience running simulation workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with Docker, distributed computing, or GPU-based infrastructure
