Application Engineer

How you will make an impact

On-site deployment

• Install and assemble SigmaKit hardware, including robotic hands and sensor modules
• Integrate and set up SigmaKit with customers’ existing robots, including UR, Doosan, FANUC, Rainbow Robotics, and Dobot
• Integrate robots, grippers, sensors, vision systems, communication devices, and other equipment into complete automation systems

Data collection operations

• Conduct on-site data collection using teleoperation and data glove-based methods
• Review collected data for quality and support data labeling
• Validate trained models in real-world environments through repeated testing and systematic result tracking

Customer technical support

• Design and execute data collection scenarios tailored to each customer’s manufacturing process and application
• Troubleshoot and maintain deployed systems at customer sites
• Train customer engineers on how to set up and use SigmaKit
• Identify issues in the field and communicate actionable feedback to the engineering team, contributing directly to product improvements

Who we are looking for

• Hands-on experience with robotic hardware assembly and system integration, along with a basic understanding of ROS and vision systems
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, strong adaptability in field environments, and disciplined documentation habits
• Someone who enjoys working with real machines and solving hands-on problems in factories and production environments
• Someone who is comfortable spending time on-site, observing real operations, talking to users, and understanding problems firsthand
• Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment and takes ownership of getting things done
