Research Scientist, Machine Learning
How you will make an impact:

Design, train, and deploy innovative core algorithms for robot imitation learning

Bring insights from ML in vision and language to advance robotics
-
Implement recent state-of-the-art techniques and benchmark their utility
-
Conduct various experiments and create conclusions that crucially contribute to the direction of the development team
What we are looking for:
-
Ph.D. or equivalent level of research experience
-
Strong skills in research such as rigorous thinking, hypothesis building, and experimentation
-
Expertise in recent techniques in ML such as transformers and generative modeling
-
Software experience with modern ML libraries and tools (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, github)
-
Strong capabilities in debugging and designing a major piece of software
Nice to have:
-
Experience with basic ML pipelines such as cloud-based training
-
Familiarity with reinforcement learning

Basic familiarity with robotics
